During these fundamental first years we recognise that children need genuine and well considered care, love and support which is why our Holly Room is well equipped, flexible and homely.
We use real, natural resources where we can to make the space homely, welcoming and familiar whilst sparking curiosity and providing holistic play and learning opportunities. The room is carefully considered so that opportunities are accessible to children of all different stages of development. A balance of child and adult led planning advises the set up and provision on a regular basis so that the playroom represents and is suitable for the specific interests and learning needs of those using it. As our babies and toddlers learn to use their voice our team are well trained to support our youngest learners who may need help making themselves heard and in doing so build strong relationships and nurturing bonds that help them feel safe and secure.
Children's needs are considered on an individual basis via careful and regular care planning and our team work to manage the playroom in a way that allows varying needs to be met at all times of the day.
